Caleb W. Cliff

Hello and thank you for visiting. My name is Caleb and I’m a certified Ayurvedic health coach. When I first learned of Ayurveda it felt like I was discovering the most amazing secrets about food and health. Shortly after, I bought an Ayurvedic cookbook which introduced me to some of the core concepts in Ayurveda - the different body types, eating for health, seasonal understandings and beyond. After studying in a two year program and experiential time in India, I was humbled by its wisdom and felt more connected to the health of myself and those around me than I ever had before. Now having studied Ayurveda and living by its principles for many years, I would like to share what I have learned.

Ayurveda

An ancient healing modality from India, Ayurveda translates to, “the science or knowledge of life.” Ayurveda’s approach to wellness is highly adaptable and allows for a rich understanding for all variety of people. Ultimately, it seeks to help individuals find balance within themselves through dietary, exercise, as well as other lifestyle choices. The more a person integrates the daily wisdom of Ayurveda, the more they will likely prevent or lessen the impacts of diseases and imbalances. Once in greater balance, the body is the most proficient and effective tool we have to keep ourselves healthy. Consultations can range from learning what are the proper foods and lifestyle choices that will best promote us to diagnosing and treating physiological issues. Something unique to Ayurveda is that it not only brings us into balanced health but takes us beyond to a peak state of being, creating a way of living that supports our most capable selves.

Sound Healing

In the last 10 years, there has been a tremendous surge of interest in sound healing such as sound baths and music's place in psychedelic assisted therapy. People's appreciation and belief in sound as a contributor to healing is steadily on the rise and there is a wide range of research to support these feelings. There is also an array of theories on how sound and music interact with and support the body in times of healing. My approach emphasizes how music impacts emotions and then builds off of these relationships. The more comfortable and at home you feel with the music, the more you can relate to it and develop new ways of connecting with yourself. These connections help us to know ourselves more deeply and tune us into the subtle things at play in our bodies.
